Sigo a Ana en RRSS desde que tengo Instagram. Siempre me ha apasionado todo lo que gira alrededor de la moda y al mismo tiempo, me ha ocasionado ciertas controversias porque, generalmente, no soy muy fan de las tendencias. Sin embargo, Ana, que para mí siempre ha sido fuente de inspiración, creo que logra ese mix exacto y complicado al mismo tiempo; no sólo vistiéndose a ella misma, (que me flipa), sino con cada uno de sus trabajos.

How would you describe yourself at this point in your life?
Obviamente he dejado esta pregunta para el final, y para mí es muy importante destacar el «HOY». Creo que lo que más me caracteriza es mi energía. Intento ser muy positiva y contagiar eso a la gente que me rodea. Soy curiosa y aventurera por naturaleza, y también un poco inconformista. Me encanta rodearme de gente de la que puedo aprender constantemente, y también disfruto mucho cuidando de mis allegados. Diría que soy divertida, me encanta pasármelo bien y siempre intento encontrar lo bueno en cada situación.

Alguien muy especial me regaló un libro de Joe Dispenza antes del verano, y empecé a leerlo pero no llegué a terminarlo ni a profundizar en él. Ahora lo estoy releyendo por segunda vez, y todo empieza a tener mucho más sentido. La verdad es que estoy priorizando la meditación a la lectura, es algo que siento que tengo que mejorar e intentar integrar en mi vida diaria de una forma muy constante. Cada pasito que doy me produce mucha satisfacción.

Mis marcas favoritas van desde Isabel Marant, Loewe, Victoria Beckham, and The Row, hasta la marca española Gimaguas. Últimamente, también estoy obsesionada con el trabajo que Chemena está haciendo en Chloe.

Para mí, el look más cool es aquel en el que me siento más guapa. Suele ser muy básico, esto es lo que yo elijo: un buen par de vaqueros azules (el tono de azul es muy importante), una camiseta blanca o gris y una chaqueta un poco más sofisticada. Los jerséis azul marino también son un básico en mi día a día, así como el look deportivo 24/7 de Lululemon.

Esta pregunta parece peliaguda, jaja, porque en mi opinión, «menos es más» es el claro ganador. Pero es cierto que para una primera cita, puede que quieras elevar un poco tu look. Definitivamente, elige tus vaqueros favoritos, esos que te sientan de maravilla, un top que te quede bien pero que sea sencillo, un cinturón chulo y unas sandalias o botas que le den ese toque especial a tu outfit. Lo que sí me parece imprescindible es un look beauty muy sencillo y natural y tu mayor sonrisa.
The coolest place for a spring getaway, what's in your suitcase?
Esta pregunta tiene una respuesta insuperable: sin duda, México es el lugar. Desde la CDMX hasta Puerto Escondido o Baja California, tienes millones de lugares increíbles para cualquier escapada. ¿En mi maleta? Si me vas a llevar a la playa, necesito muy poco, jaja. Un par de bikinis, un pareo para descansar en la playa, unos pares de Tkees (estoy obsesionada) y un par de vestidos sexys para cenar por la noche. Un neceser sencillo con un buen serum, crema hidratante con SPF, máscara de pestañas (uso 3 diferentes, jaja), y un buen brillo de labios. Lo más importante es pasar la mayor parte del tiempo descalza, bebiendo y comiendo cocos sin parar, una margarita aquí y allá, y disfrutando tanto del amanecer como del atardecer.

Diría que la inspiración se puede encontrar en millones de sitios, pero sin duda, para mí, está en las cosas más sencillas y sobre todo en los momentos de calma. Un buen día después de muchos días grises, un fin de semana con una amiga, caminar descalza por la playa, leer un buen libro al aire libre, tener una gran conversación con alguien... Últimamente, sin duda, mi mayor inspiración son mis amigos.
And finally, A, what do you think are the coolest places in Madrid at the moment? Cuando se trata de comer, creo que en Madrid, por fin estamos viendo un cambio en las tendencias sobre lo que consideramos cool. Antes, todo giraba en torno a los megarestaurantes de moda con música súper alta a los que ibas sólo para que te vieran. Ahora, buscamos sitios más especiales, donde realmente nos sintamos bien y, por supuesto, disfrutemos de una buena comida, jaja. Mis favoritos últimamente son Los 33, Mune, Her, Gaston, Mazul, and Ticui. Pero para mí, lo verdaderamente cool es hacer ejercicio en los mejores estudios de Madrid. Mis favoritos son AMA Studio, Revive, Casa Barré, and Siclo.

Una pregunta muy muy buena, que no sé si contestar o guardármela para mí, jaja. Probablemente mi zona favorita de Mallorca es la parte norte (Deia, Valldemosa y Soller). Allí puedes encontrar playas increíbles, pero también me encanta pasear y descubrir nuevos rincones en el centro histórico de Palma.
He conocido a Ana en persona mientras tomábamos un café en Capuccino e íbamos viendo juntas cómo se desarrollaría el contenido de esta entrevista y qué compartiría en The Coolest Instagram. Es exactamente cómo había imaginado: entusiasta, buena onda y cercana. Ella dice que considera que una de las cosas que le definen es su energía: es así. Es tan-tan-tan contagiosa que el día ha empezado aún mejor de lo que esperaba.

I've been following Ana on social media since I got Instagram. I've always been passionate about everything that revolves around fashion and at the same time, it has caused me some controversy because, generally, I'm not a big fan of trends. However, Ana, who has always been a source of inspiration for me, I think she achieves that exact and complicated mix at the same time; not only dressing herself, (which I love), but with/at each of her works.

How would you describe yourself at this point in your life?
I’ve obviously saved this question for last, and for me, it’s very important to highlight the "TODAY." I think what most characterizes me is my energy. I try to stay very positive and spread that to the people around me. I’m naturally curious and adventurous, and also a bit of a non-conformist. I love surrounding myself with people I can constantly learn from, and I also really enjoy taking care of those close to me. I’d say I’m fun, I love having a good time, and I always try to find the good in every situation.
The coolest books on your bookshelf and the one you currently have on your bedside table are...
Someone very special gave me a book by Joe Dispenza before summer, and I started reading it but didn’t quite finish or dive deeply into it. Now I’m rereading it for the second time, and everything is starting to make much more sense. The truth is, I’m prioritizing meditation over reading; it’s something I feel I need to improve and try to integrate into my daily life in a very consistent way. Every little step I take brings me a lot of satisfaction.

For me, the coolest look is the one where I feel the prettiest. It’s usually very basic, here’s what I go for: a good pair of blue jeans (the shade of blue is very important), a white or grey t-shirt, and a slightly more sophisticated jacket. Navy blue sweaters are also a staple in my daily routine, as well as the 24/7 sporty look from Lululemon.

This question seems tricky, haha, because in my opinion, "less is more" is the clear winner. But it's true that for a first date, you might want to elevate your look a bit. Definitely choose your favorite jeans, the ones that make you feel amazing, a top that fits well but is simple, a cool belt, and some sandals or boots that add that special touch to your outfit. What I do think is essential is a very simple and natural beauty look and your biggest smile.

This question has an unbeatable answer—without a doubt, Mexico is the place. From CDMX to Puerto Escondido or Baja California, you have millions of amazing spots for any getaway. In my suitcase? If you’re taking me to the beach, I need very little, haha. A couple of bikinis, a sarong for lounging by the beach, some pairs of Tkees (I’m obsessed), and a couple of sexy dresses for dinner at night. A simple toiletry bag with a good serum, hydrating cream with SPF, mascara (I use 3 different ones, haha), and a good lip gloss. The most important thing is spending most of the time barefoot, drinking and eating endless coconuts, a margarita here and there, and enjoying both the sunrise and the sunset.

I’d say inspiration can be found in millions of places, but without a doubt, for me, it’s in the simplest things and especially in moments of calm. A good day after many gray ones, a weekend with a friend, walking barefoot on the beach, reading a good book outdoors, having a great conversation with someone... Lately, without a doubt, my biggest inspiration are my friends.

When it comes to dining, I think that in Madrid, we’re finally seeing a shift in trends about what we consider cool. Before, it was all about the trendy mega restaurants with super loud music where you’d go just to be seen. Now, we look for more special places, where we really feel good and, of course, enjoy great food, haha. My favorites lately are Los 33, Mune, Her, Gaston, Mazul, and Ticui. But for me, what’s truly cool is working out at the best studios in Madrid. My favorites are AMA Studio, Revive, Casa Barré, and Siclo.

Such a very very good question, one I’m not sure if I want to answer or keep to myself, haha. Probably my favorite area of Mallorca is the northern part (Deia, Valldemosa, and Soller). There, you can find incredible beaches, but I also love taking walks and discovering new spots in the historic center of Palma.
I met Ana face to face while we where having a coffee at Capuccino and we were discussing together how the content of this interview would develop and what she would me to share on The Coolest Instagram. She is exactly what I had imagined: enthusiastic, cool and approachable. She says she considers that one of the things that defines her is her energy, she's like that. Her energy is so-so-so-so contagious, my day has started even better than I expected!
